Farm Update 12/6/24
We are feeling grateful today…while the earthquake was surprising and intense it had no negative impact to the farm or our home. I hope that all of you out there who also live here in Humboldt had a similar experience.
I’ve also really enjoyed hearing from many of our turkey customers that the birds were exceptional this year. It is rewarding to know that the hard work of humanly raising these special birds is appreciated in our community.
My partner did a great job capturing the busy day we had processing the turkeys.
I spent today harvesting veggies for market tomorrow. While my fingers were a bit cold and stiff to start things warmed up with that lovely sunshine we have been gifted recently.
First harvest of our winter collard greens.
Freshly washed and bunched carrots…sweet!
